T and I just went to Martha's Vineyard for the first time over Columbus Day Weekend for our good friend's wedding. Though it wasn't beach weather, it was the perfect weekend for their tented wedding that was situated at Beach Plum Inn. Since it was a holiday weekend, we all got to hang out with the newlyweds the next day. I loved this idea - more often than not, you only get to see the couple the night of the wedding or at brunch the day after. We spent the day in town for shopping and football at a local bar on the wharf in Edgartown.
This weekend was also the official one year mark before our wedding. Here is to hoping we get the same amazing weather Matt and Maria got!
The wedding team was very supportive. The New York wedding venues had everything a girl might need. I highly recommend getting ready in the bridal suite. They lit the fireplaces and the views from the suite were exceptional.
