Sprung.

(Top, Club Monaco; Shoes in Beige Goose Bump Nappa, Stuart Weitzman; Sunnies, Ray-Ban)
In anticipation of warmer weather, I'm absolutely loving off the shoulder shirts for Spring 2016. It is an essential piece that doubles as both playful and fancy (check out those dramatic sleeves!). I'm thinking I will get tons of use out of this silhouette - paired with boyfriend jeans and a casual sneaker or throw on some heels and a silk pant for a dressier look.

I've collaborated on the next few posts with Jenny Moloney Photography, our talented wedding photographer and friend to give you some outfit inspo & tips for this wedding season. T & I have a whopping 12 weddings to attend this year including our own so to tee it up, say "yes" to an off the shoulder top:

Bridal Shower Guest: Try a bodysuit and a maxi
Modern Bride-to-Be: Something blue half tucked into a wide leg pant
Bachelorette: Jumpsuits are always fun
Nautical Vibes: Rehearsal Dinner | Reception
Post-Wedding Brunch: Flowy top and high-waisted linen trousers

Pumped Up Kicks.

Kicks, Isabel Marant (Similar Ash version here and here)

Wedge sneakers have been around for awhile now. At first I hated them. No, I despised them. I couldn't understand why someone would want a sneaker with a wedge. The concept both looked and sounded just stupid.  And then, somewhat recently, it dawned on me -  that I actually liked them. Like an elementary school crush, I was caught off guard with the fact that I actually liked what I thought was if anything obnoxious and not cute.

Once I came to terms with reality, I had to snag a pair for myself. The Isabel Marant edition is pretty pricey but I found that Ash makes a very similar version for much less and they are extremely comfortable. I am now in love with them. I wanted to do a bop to show the pair I purchased, but alas, I live in New York where we anxiously wait for nor'easter Nemo to pass. A bop will have to wait until next week.

In the meantime, I'm excited to see the different kinds of wedge sneakers that designers will come out with, Kate Spade included.

P.S. These don't run in half sizes, so go up a euro size. I'm usually a 7.5 so I got a 38.

Dirty Bucks.

(Dirty Bucks, BP.; Jeans, DL1961; Shirt, J.Crew; Jacket, J.Crew; Cardigan; J.Crew; Jewelry, Irina Victoria, J.Crew Crewcuts similar here; Nails, Essie: First Dance)

I have been in search of a pair of "dirty bucks" for quite some time now. I fell in love with a Cole Haan pair but couldn't bring myself to pay an excessive amount for a Bass shoe (remember those?) look-alike that my sister and I would sport daily when we were really young. The Nordstrom juniors brand, BP. has cute shoes at a reasonable price. I highly recommend checking it out!

P.S. 4 more days for you to use the promo code BOP40 at Irina Victoria to get 40% off any of her handmade pieces!

My comfortable Belle sandals add a fun pop of color to a mainly blue outfit. They really do go with everything!
