Sleek Sleeves.

(Dress, Kamali Kulture; Shoes, Michael Kors; Necklace, J.Crew (similar here - only $42!))
I am a huge believer in long sleeved dresses - mini or floor-length I just love them. I think they're flattering and somewhat fierce (in a good way!).  This dress is one of my favorites by Kamali Kulture and reminds me of a much pricier Calvin Klein Collection dress.

As the holidays approach, long sleeves won't only keep you feeling sleek but will also keep you appropriately warm.

Check out some of my picks: 1.here, 2.here, 3.here (cheaper version of 2) and here (closest to the one pictured).

Weekend Wear.

(Jacket, Forever21 (similar here and here) ; Shirt, Madewell; Denim, DL1961; Belt, Madewell; Shoes, Michael Kors (similar here); Sunnies, Ray-Ban; Jewelry, Brighton, David Yurman, Tiffany & Co.)

I can't believe this weekend was my first full weekend staying in the city since I moved downtown. I'm happy I had the chance to take it all in while the weather is still warm. It was a particular treat for a couple of reasons: I had absolutely no official plans and my mom came in for a visit.  With no obligations, we took full advantage with some shoe shopping and a pitstop at Ed's Lobster Bar for a drink and clam chowder! There was even a cultural festival happening outside of my apartment with lots of live music, what fun!

A bit on what I'm wearing: Black and brown pair well together and my Michael Kors wedges are surprisingly very comfortable. I got them a couple of years ago, and while you may not be able to find the exact style, I have found that all the Michael Kors heels/wedges I own are great for comfort!

Summer Breeze.

Currently dreaming of summer and thought I'd give you a closer look into those chicer suits, also known as one-pieces, whose plunging necklines and great attention to detail have me completely obsessed (and wishing I had at least one reason or occasion to actually wear something so elegant and stylish on the beach!).

Balmain

Michael Kors
Balmain is always known for their innovative takes on classic pieces. By taking a simple black bathing suit and adding stunning cuts, the typical suit has become a red carpet look for the seas. MK adds flair with belting reminiscent of Halle Berry's unforgettable Bond suit.

While none of these suits are exactly what one would consider practical, one can dream, right?
